TrackMania Turbo - The Driving Dark Souls
A friend of mine, also French by the way (thanks for nothing) - with an accent even more pronounced than mine, made me discover this game when it was released last year March 24, 2016. I got to say I fairly enjoy it.
Always reluctant to whip out the card to purchase on my own - I finally waited the good price drop to buy it. Do I regret, no - or at least not yet, though my scalp have reduced in hair density since then.
Though I wish it would come with an anger management book and a rubber bite pad. A driving game that is rewarding, cool, fast paced - but where every little mistake can costs you gold medal.
I've set my course towards - the first cup, challenging but not devastatingly hard - yet, now comes the second cup. Each circuit is about 50 retries.
I don't really know how I should feel about it : Challenges, given me a headache - Victories gave me a good feeling.
To make it short and sweet, Trackmania is about challenging yourself and others, You can make it to the top, or not because there's always going to be a bigger better Korean guy than you.
But the fun of the tracks, the design of them and the custom tracks make the game all the more enjoyable - yet tough customer here.
There's an infinite amount of replay value and the completionist will definitely break a sweat over this one.
It worth the time and energy even though the slightliest error in driving will result in a retry - the good thing is that the retry button is easily reachable (given you'd have to use it that often)
