Monday MD - Robocop Vs Terminator

A Comic book, an era -  Welcome to the 90's a world gone for the last 27 years. Where we had two heroes that collided together. Robocop Vs. Terminator. I know it's going to sound obvious but for me this was the shit, and I

will always be ruling for Robocop. Always.

The plot revolves around the fact that the cyborg technology powering Robocop is at the core of skynet. As such the resistence sends one of their warrior to take on the monster OCP has created.

That actually failed whence the warrior gets wounded by a cyborg unidentified until then to Murphy.

The rest is a gameplay ultra nervous in a walk and gun with quite a few gameplay varieties and different weapons. The skill of the player will be elementary to the equation as bullets are flying everywhere.

An easy game ? Not by a long shot - the first two levels are relatively easy but the game overall remains a challenge yet to be beaten by me.

It gets tougher as you progress in the levels and if you own the copy i highly recommend using a save+load state console or emulation.

With that said and for these who still care about retrogames and graphic+sound design, the title is actually a later released in the system life, despite being a tad grayish Robocop looks like what its supposed to be and the sprites are big enough. Sound wise the music accompanying the rest is Technoey with sampled guitar which fits retro futuristic charm of the experience.

Being MegaDrive it means you're going to see some blood being totally absent of the Super Nes port. With quite a few liters of ketchup being dispatched here and there.

A tough customer, both to maintain and to beat but remains a satsfying experience and rather unique.Bosses in this game are numerous and widely recognizable, you would have to defeat.

The Terminator (No shit,Sherlock), Ed 209, Cain - a metric ton of Terminators and the whole nine. These are the very cool bosses you'd be up against.

Note that to this day this game never got a re-release on virtual platforms and the only way to play it is through HW or emulation. Price wise the cart loose will set you back about 10usd whilst CIB will hover around 40usd.
