Guy from the Internet Rant - Street Fighter V Arcade Edition

After inventing the DLC second definition "disc locked content" that was hiding stuff behind a paywall, making DLC packs for cosmetic nonsense in all of its games including Street Fighter series. Capcom hit again in the newest update of Street Fighter V.

Featured Content ! Otherwise said ads inside a game that retails for $30 on consoles, not expensive but not free either you're getting ads displayed for their own merch.

I could understand the practice for a free to play. But here you're expected to pay retail for a game that would literally shove ads in your face every time you get your ass kicked by a 5 year old Asian kid, that's what I call adding insult to injury.

This is not against the general quality of the game which I find to be enjoyable myself but come on I shouldn't have to be paying a price for a game then have the game spewing at me ads during my play-through.

Oh you're exaggerating here, It can be disabled ! Oh really thanks internet for reminding me of that. The fact is this isn't something that should be thought of to begin with.

Picture if you will, but it's like tomorrow you're buying a car, full price brand new out of the garage alright. Then every 5 minutes or so an ad for the brand with other vehicles interrupt whatever shitty music you were listening to play, the same commercial non-sense you're used to on TV.

Pardon my French, Frenchiness - but isn't there enough microtransactions and cosmetic dlc's in your game at this stage CapCom ? I diverge but so far this company is putting out great games that's true, but they're also :
  •  Making five edition of the same game, adding a few characters here and there.
  • Disc locking my content behind a pay wall, encouraging the richest to complete the game where skill should be.
  • Putting out Ads in a full retail game, because why not ?
  • About 40-50 possible transactions per game.
Essentially, milking the cow dry - I get that you want to make sure a game is producing quite a lot of revenue and I get it. It's business and businesses are in to make their money's worth, however there's probably tons of other way you could have done that ? No, I mean really ?
